Lovell has released two new homes at its Mexborough development due to high demand.

Potters Walk, on Kirby Street, has proved so popular with buyers the five-star house builder has released two new off-plan Grasmere-style homes, one of which has already been snapped up by a keen buyer.

Making it easier to save for a deposit and secure a mortgage, those interested in owning The Grasmere can use Lovell’s 85/15 shared equity scheme to purchase their home.

Sales Adviser Jill comments: “Potters Walk has proved to be very popular with home buyers in the area thanks to the modern, high specification homes and excellent location.

“The house styles we have chosen for Potters Walk are perfectly designed for the modern buyer, maximising comfort and space throughout, and are equipped with the latest eco features and stylish kitchens and bathrooms.

Buying off-plan offers a unique chance to put your own individual stamp on your home, as you can choose the fixtures and fittings that give it those all-important finishing touches, but potential buyers will need to get in quick as one of the properties has already been sold.

“For those who want to buy, but need a little help, our 85/15 shared equity scheme allows you to secure your Grasmere home with a 5% deposit and 80% mortgage, as Lovell will provide the remaining 15% as an equity loan.”

The shared equity scheme provides a faster route into home ownership, as buyers can own 100% of their home while paying 85% of the asking price now.

Buyers then have up to ten years to pay back the 15% equity loan from Lovell.

The Grasmere is a semi-detached house featuring a combined kitchen and dining room with fully fitted units and integrated appliances, living room, two bedrooms and bathroom.

Homes come with photovoltaic solar panels and smart utility metering, which are designed to help lower bills, and a 10 year NHBC warranty.

Jill adds: “The location is well suited to first-time buyers and young families, as it sits within easy walking distance of schools and local amenities.

“Our homes are in demand in Mexborough, so those on the hunt for a two-bedroom home that will suit all of their needs should come and find out more about The Grasmere and our shared equity scheme as soon as possible.”

The Grasmere is available to move into from £84,957.50 using Lovell’s 85/15 shared equity.
