A NEW free community room has opened at Asda supermarket in Langley Mill.

The superstore, off Cromford Road, is offering a space, suitable for up to 14 people, which comes complete with a flip chart and a projector, to interested community groups to hire for free. The scheme is aimed at increasing ties with people in the surrounding area. Interested parties can also apply to use a space in the store’s cafe as a ‘drop-in’.

Asda’s community champion Sharon Allsopp said: “Speak to us and we will do our best to support you!” To book the room call 01773 536136.
