Pupils at Brinsley Primary School came third in a ‘Helping Hands’ project, held county-wide.

Children had to identify and tackle social issues affecting their community and Brinsley kids decided to tackle dog fouling, particularly on footpaths that children use.

Helping Hands gives schools the opportunity to work with the police, fire service and councils.
