A HALLOWEEN party was held in Kimberley last weekend.
More than 20 kids dressed up for various games including musical statues and ‘dress the mummy’.
The party raised £100 which will help Kimberley Town Council pay for events such as the Christmas light switch on and the town’s annual pram race.
Cllr Dot Saxton organised it all and said she was pleased with how it went.
“Everybody enjoyed it,” she said.
“I was a bit worried because we didn’t sell many tickets but people turned up and paid on the door.”
It was the second Halloween party Cllr Saxton had organised at the parish hall in Newdigate Street.
Cllr Saxton, the chair of the council’s events committee, is now organising monthly car boot sales at the parish hall, also to raise money for events in the town.
