SCHOOL children in Brinsley wowed teachers with their depiction of India in a creative homework project.
Pupils at Brinsley Primary School were told to produce any piece of work around the subject of India and bring it in at the end of term.
Teachers were blown away with the results they got from the year five and six pupils.
Teacher Sophie McGuiness said: “They were all amazing. We had an Indian temple, an elephant and one pupil researched the history of naan breads and made some to bring in.
“They researched India for themselves and found something that interested them.”
Creative homework projects are set for one class each term. This term the title is The Future.
