Kimberley Farmers Market is celebrating its fifth birthday next weekend with a special birthday party.

For its five year anniversary, the market in Greens Lane Shopping Precinct will include party games, a treasure trail to keep youngsters entertained and of course, a birthday cake.

As always, there will be a dynamic mix of stalls and the regular stall holders selling fresh farm produce will be joined by local organisations and businesses.

Social enterprise Pulp Friction Smoothie Bar Project, who provide volunteering opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities, will also be making an appearance with their craft stall and smoothie bike.

As the first week in October is also Guide Dog Week, there will be the branded Guide Dog gifts stall and a game to commemorate the occasion and raise money for the guide dogs for the blind.

Since the market relocated from Toll Bar Square in Kimberley, operator Stall-it has been working with the local authority and local businesses to help develop the market into a vibrant monthly attraction.

The market runs from 9am until 1pm. For more information or to book a stall for the market visit www.stall-it.org.
