Schools in Nottinghamshire are being urged to sign up to Nottinghamshire County Council’s free Schools Waste Action Club (SWAC) which can help pupils learn more about minimising waste in a fun, yet informative, ‘hands-on’ way.
The SWAC team has already worked with over 250 schools across the county, inlcuding Kimberley Primary School, but is keen for more to come forward and take part. Interested schools are being urged to sign up now in readiness for the autumn term.
SWAC offers practical ways to minimise waste by reducing, reusing and recycling effectively delivered by experienced teachers.
