Schools across Nottinghamshire have been urged to let students embrace the great outdoors and learn more about a real childhood favourite as part of the first ever British Mud Week.
‘Mud Week’ will be held from June 23 to June 29 this year, with schools across the county invited to take part and incorporate the celebration of mud into activities both in and out of the classroom.
Organisers have prepared an information pack for schools, giving suggestions for how they can get involved, including everything from sponsored welly-wearing to the scientific make-up of mud.
British Mud Week is a way of embracing the outdoors and teaching our children that getting dirty can be much more fun than staying indoors . Visit www.britishmudweek.co.uk or follow @BritishMudWeek on Twitter.
