A vandal keyed 14 cars in Nottingham Road, Eastwood in one night.

The crime spree happened between 8pm on February 5 and 9am the following morning.

Ray Marsden, who is a neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator in Nottingham Road, was one of the victims of the attack.

He said: “It’s just terrible. It’s thousands of pounds worth of damage. And who pays for it? People don’t want to pay the excess on their insurance and see their premiums go up so they just have to fork out for it.

“I’ve got two scratches – one at the front and one at the back.”

The police could not identify the offender on the CCTV.
