Pupils from Hucknall’s Broomhill Junior School held a non-uniform day on Valentine’s Day and collected money for two worthy causes.

Youngsters arrived at school on the last day before the half-term break and paid a small fee for the privilege of wearing their own clothes.

All money collected will go towards Chantal Duarte, left and her friend Lauren Mellor’s London Marathon challenge for the British Lung Foundation and Childhood First charity.
