A cafe in Eastwood will be turned into a winter wonderland next week to raise money for a local charity.
Eats n Treats will be hosting a Christmas evening on Wednesday December 18 to raise money for the Ryan Lee Trust Fund.
The cafe and garden will be completely transformed for the festive event between 6pm and 9pm.
There will be various stalls, a choir singing Christmas carols, festive food and Santa in his grotto.
The Ryan Lee Trust was set up by a Kimberley couple to raise money for specialist equipment so terminally ill children can live their final days at home.
Cafe owner Elaine said: “The idea snowballed after we had a successful Halloween evening where we created a garden of doom with spooky games. We got the bug and decided to go for a Winter wonderland with a real Christmassy feel. We then decided to do it for a charity and having had a child with cancer it’s a charity close to my heart. They do excellent work to support children and young people and we would love to be able to raise a substantial amount of money for them.”
Raffle prizes are needed and stalls are available for £10. Ring Elaine on 07877 263 370.
