The Save Our Brewery (SOBs) group in Kimberley has received a timely financial boost.
The organisation is fighting to protect the history of the former Kimberley Brewery amid plans for its redevelopment.
It has now been handed a cheque for £200 from Cllr Ken Rigby.
The money is from the Notts county councillor’s divisional fund and will enable SOBs to continue to meet in public so meetings can be attended by local residents, who can follow the development plans.
