A charity event was held at Kimberley Sainsbury’s last week (August 22) to raise money for guide dogs.
The day saw £360 raised to go towards the training of more guide dogs for the blind.
Organiser and PR embassador at the store, Angela Sheldon, was seen marching around dressed as a giant dog for the event.
“It really was a brilliant day and we had some great prizes in the raffle including a locally-made chocolate R2-D2,” Angela said.
“I think people were spending more for a better chance of winning.”
Angela has thanked colleagues and shops in Kimberley who donated, including Flowers by Shaun and the Lord Clyde pub.
She has also thanked Eatz cafe and Lindsay’s chip shop.
