A talented young playwright has penned and performed her third production for charity.
Eleven-year-old Keira Pilcher has written plays previously in the past two years with the first for the British Heart Foundation and one last Christmas in aid of the Babbington Rescue Centre for dogs in Awsworth.
Her latest outdoor play, which was due to be performed at Easter, was delayed but when resceduled it collected £112 for the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA).
Entitled ‘The Quest for the Golden Egg’, the play was performed with the help of Keira’s friends and featured singing and dancing with Keira playing the guitar.
