Teachers, firefighters and public-sector workers will be among those taking strike action on Thursday (July 10), sparking the closure of some schools and other venues in Eastwood and Kimberley.
Notts County Council has revealed that this will include the closure of Eastwood Library for the day.
The national day of strike action by all of the major public sector trade unions, including one of the main unions representing teachers, the National Union of Teachers (NUT).
Among the schools already announced as likely to be closed/partially closed are:
Bagthorpe Primary, Underwood;
Brinsley Primary, Brinsley;
Hollywell Primary, Kimberley - partial open for; Year 1/2 - 23 children. Year 4 - 26 children.
