A former Kimberley School pupil Neil Wedge and his son Josh who are cycling 1,000 miles in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society have reached Scotland.
The duo took on the challenge of cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats after Neil’s mother died suffering from Alzheimer’s and have already covered 640 miles.
They said that they have been blessed with good weather throughout their journey and everything was going smoothly.
Neil added: “The highlight for me so far was going over Dartmoor.
“It is normally shrouded in mist and fog but we had terrific views as far as the eye could see.”
