A programme packed with Easter fun, including bonnet parades, was held at Age Concern Eastwood.
On Wednesday last week, Tony Marx entertain ed at the Colin Dyson Centre off Edward Road and members enjoyed buttered hot cross buns and cream and jam scones.
There was also an Easter bonnet parade for men and women with Deputy Mayor of Eastwood, Cllr Ken Kenny, voting George Gossling as the winner of a. He scopped £10 for his colourful creation.
On Thursday last week, the centre hosted male vocalist Big Dave Bopper, who performed before dinner.
It was tthen his task to choose the winner from 12 entrants in a second Easter bonnet parade. Dave picked out Lily Edis, who again won £10.
All members were given an Easter egg and a gift and the volunteers were praised..
