Eastwood register office has reopened following improvements to its IT network.

The Nottinghamshire County Council office is based at the town’s health clinic on Nottingham Road and is available for residents giving notice of marriage and civil partnerships and the registering of birth and deaths by appointment.

Appointments were temporarily held in Hucknall whilst the works were taking place.

The opening times are as before – 9am to 4.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Councillor Glynn Gilfoyle, Chair of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Community Safety Committee, said: “We would like to thank the Eastwood community for their patience and hope they haven’t been too inconvenienced during this temporary closure.”
