Youngsters of Watnall Pre-School certainly cracked it when they took part in their annual egg roll in the run-up to Easter.
The children rolled eggs down a hill towards a target and in return were rewarded with chocolate Easter eggs at the end.
It has been a tradition spanning more than 15 years at the pre-school, which is based on Main Road, and has been massively popular with both kids and parents, with over 20 mothers and fathers attending the spectacle.
Dawn Jeffs, administrator for the event, said: “The kids really enjoy the event. They enjoy the activities but also getting a big chocolate egg after as well.”
