Last week we announced the launch of our new Pet of the Year competition for Eastwood and Kimberley.
Well today we print, for the first time, the all important entry form, which is your ticket to take your prized pet along to our FREE photo shoots.
We at the Advertiser have joined forces with Lawrence Veterinary Centre in Eastwood and John Booth Photography, of Ilkeston, to bring pet owners the chance to earn recognition for their much-loved animals.
All you have to do is fill in the coupon on this page and take it along to one of the photo sessions (SEE RIGHT) at the vet’s on Nottingham Road.
But we don’t want just domestic pets. If you own an unusual animal, the contest is still open to you.
For there will be two categories — ‘cats and dogs’ and ‘out of the box and cage’, which will include anything from a hamster to a snake, chicken or even an owl.
There will be prizes for the top three in each section.
Advertiser editor Martin Hutton said: “I know there are loads of people out there in Eastwood and Kimberley who have much-loved pets and will be champing at the bit to enter this competition.
“This is entirely free of charge to enter and there are some brilliant prizes up for grabs, which we will reveal next week.
“Make sure you cut out the form and the panel of dates for the photo shoots to make sure you don’t miss out.”
Once all the entries have been gatheres, photos of the top pets will be reproduced by the Advertiser and you, our readers, will get the chance to vote for the winners.
See the paper each week for updates.
