Searing flames tore through Eastwood Cemetery Chapel in the early hours of the morning on April 9.
The blaze broke out at 2am and more than 20 firefighters battled the blaze for more than five hours.
Eastwood Crew manager Jonathon Booth described the chapel as a ’beautiful building’ that had withstood two world wars and said it was a great shame.
“It was beautiful. It’s unreal really. It’s withstood two world wars and now. It’s a great shame.”
