A fitness instructor from Underwood held a fundraising event to mark 25 years service to the community.
Friends and supporters got together at Underwood Miners’ Welfare to support Nicky Blakey’s efforts to raise more than £900 for the breast cancer unit at Kingsmill Hospital.
As well doing aerobics, pilates and hulaerobics classes, there was a variety of stalls, and nail painting, massage and cakes all on offer.
There was also a grand prize draw with more than 20 prizes donated by local businesses.
Nicky said: “During my time as a Shape Fitness teacher I have come across some wonderful people. The 25th anniversary fundraising event was a big success.”
