Budding young gardeners can enjoy some green-fingered fun at Eastwood’s D.H. Lawrence Heritage Centre later this month at a special garden-themed event.
From plant-pot decorating to planting seeds to take home and grow, a selection of garden have-a-go crafts will be on offer on Saturday May 31 between 11am and 3pm, there will also be a garden-themed trail to follow with the chance to win a treat.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds will also be on hand to give children a unique opportunity to find out some fascinating facts about gardens and the birds attracted to them.
Admission is £3.50 per child, £3.05 for Broxtowe Leisure Card holders or £1.00 for Bert’s Club Annual Member. Suitable for children of all ages who must be accompanied by an adult, with the first adult free and £1.00 per additional adult.
