IT training course for the over 60s in Eastwood

An IT training course for the over 60s is starting at the Colin Dyson Centre in Eastwood.

The course is free and starts on February 3 at 10am.

The tutor is Mike Smith who lives lcoally and has tutored at the Skill Shop and the Castle College that used to be on Chewton Street.

The weekly course is being run by Age Concern who hold a lunch club at the Colin Dyson Centre.

The club’s treasurer Josie Marsters said: “It’s aimed at the terrified who have never even switched on a PC and we thought it would be suitable for some of our members and others.”
