A talented young break dancer from Langley Mill is set to take the stage in front of millions as he stars in the live semi-final of Sky One dance competition Got To Dance.

Kelvin Clark, 14, who goes by the stage name Bboy Kelvin, will line up with alongside
Karam aka Bboy Kid Karam and Callum aka Bboy Monster as the Original Kidz in the live semi-final next Tuesday night on Sky One at 7.30pm.

The group, who got their name due to the fact that they pride themselves on
being self taught dancers who
choreograph their own
routines and stay original have been mentored by former
Pussycat Doll and current Got To Dance judge Kimberly
Wyatt.

The group will be pitted up against other live acts mentored by Diversity’s Ashley Banjo and Australian dancer and actor Adam Garcia on the night, although they’ll no doubt be buoyed by the fact this isn’t their first time on the big stage.

All three boys used to be a part of Trinity Warriors, a dance group that reached the finals of Series 2 of Got To Dance. They also performed on Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew with Trinity Warriors.

The show will be live from Earls Court in front of a 6000 strong audience and millions across the country on Sky One, but Kelvin says he won’t be too phased by the spotlight as he and the boys had to perform in front of the crowd during auditions, he said: “I’m really excited about the live semi-final, naturally I’m a little bit nervous but we’ll just have to do our best on the night and see how it goes.

“The other acts are all
really good but all three of us have worked
really hard and I believe if we perform to the best of our
ability we’ll be okay.”

Alison Clark, Kelvin’s mum said: “I’m so proud of Kelvin, but if I’m honest I’m really nervous but I’m also so
excited for the boys.

“As long as they make no big mistakes on the night in front of a live audience it’ll all be okay!”

Fans of the Original Kidz can vote via phone and for the second year running, vote
online for free in a bid to see the youngsters reach the Got To Dance Final where the winner will be crowned “Got To Dance Champions 2014” and will walk away with a cool £250,000.

Tune in on Tuesday night 7.30pm to cheer on the boys.
