LETTER: Dear Prime Minister, there are bigger issues

UK PM Visits areas affected by pot holes.

UK PM Visits areas affected by pot holes.

I cannot believe that the best reason David Cameron could find for visiting Kimberley was to stimulate action on potholes.

The potholes may be dire, but there are many more pressing issues in our community like job opportunities for young people, poverty, affordable housing for young families and pressures on the NHS.

In my view, Mr Cameron was here quite simply to boost the electoral chances of our Tory MP.
