LETTER: The impact of arson attacks could be deadly

School fire Eastwood

School fire Eastwood

What goes through the minds of someone who decides to start a fire?

The risk to life of a blaze is utterly incomprehensible.

We seem to have suffered a succession of blazes that appear to have been started deliberately in Eastwood.

There was the chapel fire in Eastwood Cemetery and now the old Greasley Beauvale DH Lawrence school.

There might not have been a serious direct risk, but no-one can control a fire and there would be no way of knowing what might happen.

It is disgusting that this is happening.

Concerned
