Francis Edward Williamson

Francis Edward Williamson

Meet Francis Edward Williamson, who was among the first Eastwood boys to volunteer for service at the outbreak of the First World War.

He joined the Royal Field Artillery in 1914 — 100 years ago — and is pictured here with his grandparents, John and Mary Martin at 4 Wellington Street.
