Residents are urged to hit the streets and cheer troops during a prestigious military parade that will be staged in Kimberley.

Around 150 soldiers from 170 (Infrastructure Support) Engineer Group Royal Engineers, together with veterans from the Royal Engineers Association, will march through the town on Saturday May 17 during a parade to be led by the Nottinghamshire Band of the Royal Engineers.

The march will make its way through the town centre at 11 am, followed by a Drum Head Service at Hall Om Wong Park to commemorate the start of World War One.
