Motorbike project to cut accidents launched

Have your say

A motorcycle project which aims to reduce the number of bikers being injured on Nottinghamshire’s roads is being launched.

BikeSafe, a national scheme, will be run by Nottinghamshire police for the first time in the county throughout the summer.

It starts with a workshop. The riders then take to the road with a BikeSafe observer, usually a police motorcyclist, to explore the principles of advanced riding.

After the ride the observer gives their assessment and feedback. To book your place go to and select Nottinghamshire.
