An activity instructor from Eastwood has joined Derbyshire Police Force.
Nathan Grant, back left, was sworn in along with 15 other new officers at a ceremony at Ripley Headquarters.
Chief Constable Mick Creedon said: “I am delighted that we are now bringing fresh blood into the organisation. It’s tremendous.”
The recruits, who range from 22 to 47-years-old, started training in October and will be based across the county.
They include three former PCSOs, seven special constables, an ex-soldier, a prison officer and an activity instructor.
