An activity instructor from Eastwood has joined the ranks of Derbyshire police.
Nathan Grant, back left, was sworn in along with 15 other new officers at a ceremony at Ripley headquarters.
Chief Constable Mick Creedon said: “I am delighted that we are now bringing fresh blood into the organisation. It’s tremendous.”
The recruits, who range from 22 to 47 years old, started training in October and will be based across the county. Among those who were sworn in were three former PCSOs, seven special constables and an ex-soldier.
