The newly-formed Eastwood Parkinson’s Exercise Group (EPEG) has been launched to help local people suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
The group is self-funding and was therefore delighted to receive a visit from Cllr Keith Longdon, a local member of Notts County Council, who presented the group with a cheque for £250 to help with equipment and running costs.
The group meets every Wednesday between 12.4pm and 1.45pm at Plumptre Hall, St Mary’s Church, Eastwood, for an hour’s exercise session at a cost of £2.
The group welcomes new members, so if you have Parkinson’s and would like to have some fun and benefit from exercise at the same time, then go along and join the group.
