New jobs for Eastwood folk

Three new companies are moving to a business park in Eastwood offering new jobs to the local community.

GranDeco, the National Pest Technicians Associations (NPTA) and Survey Solutions have all relocated to Eastwood Link business park off the A610.

The three firms – collectively amassing almost 6,000sq ft – plan to expand as a result of the move and Survey Solutions will be opening up new jobs to people in the area.

Survey Solutions director Richard Glenn, said: “From here, we plan to expand our utilities division and hopefully employ many new staff.

“The size of the new office at Eastwood means it will serve as an excellent base for our Midlands team.”

For the NPTA, Eastwood’s proximity to the M1 motorway and major road networks made it the most logical option.

Director Barry Sheard said: “Eastwood’s transport links are superb and made for an easy decision when we were looking to relocate from Kinoulton.

“Having settled into our new, open plan offices we hope to be able to increase our member services by holding conferences, meetings and training courses on site.”

Paul Watkins, project co-ordinator at William Davis, the site contractor and developer, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome three new businesses onto the Park, and particularly those with such ambitious development plans.

“We are confident they will enhance the established professional community at Eastwood.”

Eastwood Link comprises a range of self-contained offices from 2,050 to 2,754 sq ft with dedicated car parking.
