An ‘excellent’ workers’ education initiative has been re-launched in the Kimberley area this week.

A branch of the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA), which provides tutor-led adult education, was launched in the area on Wednesday June 18.

As part of the re-launch, a presentation on the local history of Kimberley over the last two centuries was given by local man Roy Plumb.

The branch re-launch, which took place at Rumbletums on Newdigate Street, will mean people in the area will be able to benefit from curricilum themes of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and culture.
