DH Lawrence fans can live out one the writer’s most popular short stories in a special guided walk this weekend.
The walk will take in the sites in Eastwood, featured in the short story, Odour of Chrysanthemums.
It will pass Vine Cottage, where Lawrence’s aunt lived and where he set the story that was inspired by her life, and will go past Brinsley Headstocks, taking the route Lawrence’s father would have walked to work each day.
The free three mile walk will set off from the DH Lawrence centre on Sunday morning at 11am.
DH Lawrence Heritage is a multi-award winning visitor bringing together a museum, heritage centre, gift shop and art gallery.
