Road rage attack at roundabout

A driver got out of his vehicle and snapped the wing mirror off another motorist’s car in an apparent road rage attack at Nuthall Roundabout.

The victim was on his way home on May 14 at 6.10 pm when the incident happened at a set of traffic lights.

The man in the damaged car was unaware of any reason why this happened and did not know the registration of the vehicle. He thought it was an old style Jaguar-type vehicle.

The man is described as white, in his mid-40s and was wearing a striped shirt and smart trousers. He may have had a beard.

The mirror was left hanging by itss internal wires. No violence was threatened to the driver.

The vehicle drove off in the direction of the motorway.
