Sainsbury's Sport Relief fundraiser

Staff at Sainsbury’s in Kimberley cycled and rowed for two days solid to raise money for Sport Relief last weekend.

Checkout staff and management took it in turns on an exercise bike and rowing machine at the front of the store all day Friday and Saturday and collected donations from customers.

Angela Sheldon said: “I don’t know how long I was on there for but I couldn’t walk afterwards!”

There was also a tombola with Easter eggs as prizes.

It is not yet known how much the store raised.

Sport Relief raised £53 million nationally.
