VIDEO: Get your dog microchipped at local park

Waiting for Video...

Dog owners can have their pet dogs microchipped for free at an Eastwood drop-in after two successful events over the summer.

Go along to Coronation Park in Eastwood on October 26 between 10.30am and 1.30pm.

Other events are being held in Beeston and Toton and they follow the success of sessions held in Nuthall and Stapleford earlier this year.

Dog owners do not need to make an appointment and can turn up on the day. Dogs are required to wear a collar with an identification tag and be on kept on a lead.

Last year dog wardens collected 261 dogs — 16 were reunited with their owners.
