Why should people have to wait in queues on the telephone listening to music while trying to get in touch with the utility companies?
Why can’t all the numbers be freephone, as all the call centres are doing it getting people into debt with their phone bills.
They don’t want to know why people can’t pay their bills in one go.
When customers fall on hard times, through no fault of their own, they shouldn’t be passed on to debt collectors. This causes a lot of stress, which is a killer.
Gone is the personal touch when you could talk to a person instead of a machine and if this is what they call progress, then God help us all.
