Man charged over stabbing

a MAN has been charged and remanded in custody after a stabbing in Nuthall earlier this month.

Rickiel Bartley, 22, of Wendover Drive, Aspley, appeared before Nottingham magistrates last Friday, October 7, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon, theft of a mobile phone and the supply of cannabis.

It comes after a 19-year-old teen suffered cuts to his face and body while outside Oak Ash Court, a block of apartments in Nuthall, at around 11.10pm on Friday September 30.

The victim was treated at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre for serious injuries, but has since been released from hospital.
