Nottinghamshire County Council has a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman, following last week’s annual general meeting.
Cllr Carol Pepper is the new chairman and replaces Keith Walker. She has chosen Nottingham Hospitals Cystic Fibrosis Campaign as her charity for the year.
The appeal raising for a new centre for people with Cystic Fibrosis at the city hospital.
Cllr Pepper said: “It is a great honour to be elected by my colleagues and I am really looking forward to the coming year.”
The new vice-chairman is Councillor Barrie Cooper, who said he was ‘honoured’ and it was a ‘tremendous privilege’.
