PUPILS in Nuthall moving up to secondary school have been given illustrated dictionaries by a local rotary club.

Children at Hempshill Hall Primary School in Nuthall were given the dictionaries by Bulwell and Basford Rotary Club.

The rotary club started its ‘dictionaries for life’ programme three years ago and since then more than 250 have been distributed among 15 schools in the area.

Rotary members Bill Smith, John Heading and Graham Hayes all visited the school where 47 dictionaries were presented to the pupils in a special assembly.
