A NEW playground was opened at Brinsley Primary School this week by the vice chairman of the local parish council.
The revamped bigger playground, designed to encourage more outdoor learning, was ready for the start of term and officially opened on Monday, September 19 by Cllr John Booth.
The playground was re-surfaced and a car driveway with parking bays was painted on for the kids to learn about road safety. Alphabet snakes and number ladders were also added.
Teachers worked with the children on the design and a committee of governors worked on financing the project.
