More than 200 people attended the first of three family fun days which took place at the Basil Recreation Ground in Nuthall.

The event was co-ordinated by parish clerk Sue Stack on behalf of the council and saw community police officer Neil Reddish join in the fun. The day included bowls, tennis, football, Zumba, and traditional games.

Two more fun days are set to take place on Sunday June 2 and Sunday 1 September, between 1pm and 5pm.
