An open day is being held at a day care centre for people with learning disabilities next week.
Spring Bank Farm in Brinsley, which caters for people with severe learning problems and autism, has improved its facilities since opening in April and is holding an open day next Wednesday, September 21 to showcase them.
The centre now has a leisure room with computers and music and has added touch screen computers and specialised games to other parts of the centre.
Spring Bank Farm is a recently opened specialised care home which includes a charity-run resource centre on site open to people with learning disabilities from other care homes or schools. It is open Saturdays and Mondays.
