PUPILS and teachers at Nuthall’s Horsendale Primary School cut a ribbon to officially launch a new gazebo play hut.

The £7,000 hut, which will be used at play time and for outdoor classes, was funded by the school and the energy company, Eon.

Helen May, chairman of the parents group, said: “This is a dream come true. We have been raising money for more than four years.”

Headteacher Brian Summers said it would encourage ‘performing arts, creative play and outdoor learning’.
