RESIDENTS at an Eastwood Sheltered Housing Scheme enjoyed a festive treat at their Christmas party when they were treated to a special visit from an Elvis-impersonating police officer.
Eastwood police community support officer Pete Keeley treated residents at Hopkins Court to renditions of much-loved Christmas carols and his favourite Elvis songs.
The PCSO said: “I have been known to do the odd Elvis impression around the place and I just love to sing. But after four years on the beat I’m beginning to find that people are actually making requests as I do my patrols!
“It’s just a bit of fun really. I’m by no means a professional impersonator. It’s not like I turn up at the pub for karaoke dressed in my rhinestones.”
Pete took feedback about the community while he was there.
He also attended the Christmas party at Nottingham City Hospital.
