Detectives are trying to identify the owner of an engraved bracelet and locket.

The bracelet, featuring the words “Abi LOVE MUM & DAD” and the locket, inscribed with “ABI 21 love Mum & Dad”, were found in Eastwood on September 17.

Officers are now appealing for the owner to come forward to reclaim their belongings.

Officers are encouraging people to either ring Nottinghamshire Police or go along to their nearest police station if they know who they belong to.

Det Con Sandra Reddish, of Beeston CID, said: “One of these items looks like it could be a 21st birthday gift and so is probably of some sentimental value.

“Help us reunite it with its rightful owner.

“If you are ‘Abi’, or know who this jewellery belongs to, call us.”

Anyone with information can call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.

They should quote incident number 000605-17092013.
