Prime Minister David Cameron has sent a letter to Councillor Dave Nunn, vice-chairman head of Kimberley Town Council, offering his thanks to the authority for letting him use the parish council base for media interviews during a recent visit to Kimberley.

Mr Cameron was in town to unveil a package worth millions of pounds to tackle problem potholes in Nottinghamshire.

The letter, which was signed by the Prime Minister himself, said that the building “provided the perfect setting for the interviews to take place”. He also gave his best wishes.
